I was actually not keen to dedicate a full posting on yana restaurant as i honestly didn't have many photos to show and many regular readers would know i rely a lot on pictures to make up for my poor written language!
Whatever the case, i think it might be beneficial to share the restaurant with my Muslim friends as Yana is a halal dining establishment! We chose this because of positive online reviews (apparently) and it happened to be the birthday of Maz, one of our tour mates in my recent Bangkok trip.
The only thing i had was pad thai (Thai stir fried noodles with prawn) which was moist, flavourful and wasn't overly sweet as in the case of some restaurants. Having said that, it wasn't comparable to the 40 baht pad thai i had at Krabi even though i still managed to clean up the plate!
