A transfer, regardless of whether it is air to air, air to land, land to sea etc, can be rather tiring and you could end up with ample time before the next leg is up! That's exactly what happened to me in Kuala Besut jetty when i had to wait for my ferry to the Perhentian Islands!
Now, let me recommend a place near to the jetty where you could have a good meal, a nice beverage and surf the web; the April Cafe which wasn't the kind of cafes we are accustomed to, with a setting similar to a small scale coffee shop in Singapore.
Please get the WiFi password from the service staff! Speed was rather good even though the router appeared to be facing some problem on our return trip.
Roti Canai with Chicken Curry - consisting of two pieces of roti prata kosong (as we call them in the little red dot) and a small bowl of chicken curry.
The roti canai was the type that would have met Ms Wee's expectations; crispy on the outside yet fluffy in the inside. I personally was extremely happy with the chunky chicken meat and the sweet, flavourful curry. They were delicious enough to warrant a reorder on our last day!
